Is it really being saved or taking a deep dive?
On Wednesday January 6, 2021 a major event went down here in America. I seriously only could laugh because to me this was a total mess, comical, and just plain ridiculous. The fact that people are allowed to behave like this, and still reap every benefits that society gives if very telling to the culture we live in.

When minorities like myself actually protested during the summer up until now, about our actual RIGHT for our ability to LIVE, people had an issue. RIGHTS didn't matter then! You see the events at the Capitol weren't a protest. This was an act of domestic terrorism, that was to be honest condoned by the current and exiting administration. It is so ironic that the very people who incite "Blue Lives Matter" and "Back The Blue" were the very ones disrespecting and assaulting police officers. In fact that did nothing but BACK HAND THE BLUE, which was what they were actually doing at the Capitol on this day. Lets be honest reason why many of these people are so anti-BLM has nothing to do with being PRO police. They simply just hate black people. What we are not going to do is compare a few people who ended up infiltrating the Black Lives Matter protest to loot and riot against what the phrase and movement Black Lives Matter means to what these folks did at the Capitol Building on this day. It wasn't even a few of you all for this "REVOLUTION".....What are you even revolting? Your own rights?
Then you have black people presently being referred to as "thugs", but we got people yielding the American flag calling themselves "Christians" and "patriots" defending the constitution and worshipping a false God called Donald Trump, crumbling the very foundations they claim to stand on.How can you say this the same thing that was going on in the past summer? We marched and continue to march because we are unjustifiably getting killed. They are terrorizing because they didn't win! WE ARE NOT THE SAME! Its just utter madness. I seriously feel like I watched DC go up in flames for a minute.
The thing that baffles me is the fact that we have people whole literally took their time off to rally, and thought they were going to try and destruct the Capitol and still get there way. Even sadder, is the fact that there were people I know personally and extending who took time out of their lives to attend something like that. When have you ever seen a toddler throw a tantrum and their parent give them what they wanted? Practically never, so why do people think that was the proper approach. Exactly, they didn't think!
Bow out gracefully, with honor and integrity. The republican candidates lost the election fairly. Where is this proof you have of an unfair election? If everyone, including judges and officials are telling you everything was legal and fairly done then why are you the only ones still crying wolf and throwing a temper tantrum? Is this what true leadership looks like? Is this what you all wanted as leadership seriously?
All of this over an election? What did you honestly prove and achieve? See this is why I don't watch the news. I mean I get the highlights to stay informed, but I constantly am deleting my social media apps just to save my brain and my peace. Is this America? Well Chidish Gambino said it best......
On top of that you have so-called Christians saying this democratic candidate is nothing but the devil, God will prevail. Wake up God already has prevailed. God knew how this would pan out before the election started. People just need to learn to be peaceful with one another, walk in love as it has always been preached, and seriously sit your butts down, mind your business and pray. Myself personally as a believer can't imagine Jesus waving an America flag any more than I can imagine him wearing a "God bless Rome' shirt. Patriotism is too small. The Bible that I have and read doesn't say "For God so loved so loved America"....it says, "For God so loved the world." America First is a theological heresy. I know many of you are going to say"But Davon we need to pray." Prayer is appropriate for sure, but its time for action. It's time to call out the blatant double standard, the very obvious racism, and just most definite wrongs. My only prayer is that we WAKE UP! God shed YOUR LIGHT, and literally help us WAKE UP!
